What is Temporary Visa?
Temporary visa is granted to persons who enter and stay in Japan for short period on purpose of sightseeing, family gathering, business meeting and so on. It is sometimes called Tourist Visa.
Persons from China, Philippine, Russia, and other countries which have not signed Visa Exemption Agreement with Japan must get the visa even for the sightseeing.
Generally speaking Temporary Visa is easily granted as long as the applicant has enough money for the travel and return tickets. But persons from China, Philippines, Russia, and other particular countries, have to submit various documents.
