What is Long Term Resident Visa?
This visa is for a foreigner who is approved to live in Japan with designation of period of stay by the Justice Minister in the consideration of special circumstances.
The applicant has to show the reason why the applicant needs to stay in Japan to get this visa.
There is no limitation on the activity after the applicant gets this visa. But this visa holder needs to extend this visa.

1. After divorce with Japanese spouse
2. In the case of a foreigner who is Japanese spouse, she invites her child to Japan.
